Creating a cool rollover effect in ImageReady tutorial
This tutorial will show you how to create a cool looking rollover on text and images which can be used in forum signatures and animations. Firstly, go into Photoshop, and create a new file. (Ctrl + N or File > New)
Then insert your text or image.
Once done, select the Ellipse tool from the side bar.
Then draw a circle on a new layer in your image. Make sure that it is not the same colour as your text layer.
With the circle layer selected, create a clipping mask (Layer > Create Clipping Mask or Ctrl + G). Your image should now look like this:
Switch to ImageReady. (Shift + Ctrl + M).
Once in ImageReady, position the circle to the left of the image.
Then create a new frame in the animation window. (If it isn't open, go Window > Animation.)
Move the circle over to the right of the image.
Click the tween button in the animation window, and insert a number. (The higher the number, the smoother the animation.)
Press play, and watch your animation.
Please post your comments in our forum.
